China Intellectual Property Training Center (hereinafter referred to as CIPTC), founded officially on April 1, 1996, in the Great Hall of the People, is a sub-organization of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of the People’s Republic of China. It is a “Partner of the WIPO Network of Intellectual Property International Training Institutes”, and also a National Further Education Base for Professionals designated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. As a specialized institution for IP training and education, CIPTC enjoys high reputation both at home and abroad. CIPTC takes on the mission to provide nationwide continuing education and training for IP professionals. CIPTC also conducts international exchanges and cooperation with IP training institutions of other countries, regions and organizations in the world. It cooperates with domestic and overseas universities and colleges to jointly offer master degree programs. By the principle of training on demand, CIPTC is making every effort to meet the training needs of both SIPO and the general public. It offers structural, standardized and professional IP training courses, disseminates IP knowledge, and promotes IP culture among the whole society by implementing the overall deployment of SIPO so as to contribute its efforts in building up the IP powerhouse. Based upon its nationwide training network, CIPTC is well-known for its IP training programs.
